Solved 9800 gx2 Generic PnP Monitor

Hi guys I need your Support! :cry:
Even though i use 1900X1200 res, I still Get Generic PnP Monitor on this card(XFX 980GX2):mad:. I already use the current driver and the beta driver but still Generin PnP Monitor. I also try to delete all the drivers to have a clean install driver to this card but again nothing happens. I dont know what to do anymore. :cry:

Hi Angelo,

The video driver is only for the graphics card and not for the monitor. That has a separate driver of it's own if one is available for it. I did not see one listed for your monitor model number at Acer, but as long as you are able to use that native screen resolution you should be fine.

But My system video memory is 0? Why is that happen?
Another Question why is that my video card is not digitally sign? I cant Understand? I already update the driver many times and still not digitaly sign.
Why I ony see #1 on my display Monitor. where is #2. although I use 19001200 res.

do you have dual screens? if you only have 1 screen.. thats all that it will show there where you choose your res..

or are you thinkin there should be 2 cuz the Dual GFX card.. cuz thats not how it works.. the computer see's it as 1 card.

According to your screenshots, you currently have 512 MB of actual dedicated memory for your graphics card.

As Gunther posted, you will not see a montitor 2 listed unless you have a second monitor plugged into the graphics card as well.
