Currently using Vista 64 bit and will soon switch to Windows Seven 64 bit. Am trying to load greeting card program 32 bit which I used on XP. I have Microsoft Greetings Workshop Deluxe, Microsoft Picture It, and Microsoft Greetings. Is there any way to get them to work, or do I need to buy new 64 bit programs

If they are native XP programs I would right click on the icon and choose Properties, Compatibility Tab, then check Run this program in compatibility mode for: and select XP SP 2. If that doesn't work you can try checking Microsoft site searching those programs. There might be a work-around in a knowledge base article.
