4GB RAM & PageFile - needed ??

Hi ! What do you suggest ?? Keep the page file ? or better turn it off ?? If keep then how big ?? :/

I have 16GB of RAM. The paging file is used for much more than paging now. You need it in Vista. My paging file is 16GB for Photoshop CS2.

So how big it should be on my configuration u think ? initial and max size ?? :confused:

I know that there are many theories how big you should set PF but I'd be grateful if u could give me any suggestions...

Paging file should be 1.5 times larger than the amount of RAM you have afaik.

Or I just keep mine system managed and stuck it on my second hard drive.

Yes, you want paging enabled and it's probably best to let the system manage the size.

But all it is used for is virtual memory....
