What's with JAVA?

Because of Homeland Security red flag on Java's safety issues, I deleted the program entirely. To my surprise, (so far)I have not noticed anything different with my laptop/s functioning.

I am curious what the PC wiz out there are doing about this?

If you are someone that needs to use Java, uninstall it for the time being. Java has only been able to fix half of the exploit with its most recent update. I don't have Java on any of my systems and have never noticed any difference.

I had heard about java's problem from kim kamando 3 weeks before the news had it on and uninstalled it from all 3 of my computers at home, haven't had any issues that I can tell of because of it.
