Solved Alienware Aurora m9700 Drivers Problem Solved.

Alienware got you down? Those smarmy, mankey gits not supporting 64 bit software makin you feel like you've purchaced a $5000 paperweight?

No more worries my friend!! I too have pulled my hair out and resisted the urge to throw this bloody thing out a window.

I've managed to find all the drivers save the Web Cam driver and for you convienience (because I wished i could find something like this) i've packaged them all up in one little ball for you.

At the end of this post are four links to RAR files i've made for you. It contains all those pesky missing drivers.

YOU MUST DOWNLOAD ALL THE RAR FILES.

The files are split up due to file size limitations put on me via the file host.

If you are not familiar with RAR files it's quite easy. Once you have downloaded all the RAR files... make sure they are all in the same directory! Double click on the file called "Alienware m9700 Vista x64 drivers.part1" and once WinRAR opens click "Extract to" then pick a folder and hit OK... Thats it.

Install the drivers as you normally would.

Cool! Thanks a lot man. :D I know how you feel – I spent many, many hours trying to find working Vista x64 drivers for my m9700. Thanks to you, both speakers on my Alienware now work instead of just one!

Btw, did you manage to find a solution to that pesky BisonCam driver problem?

Nevermind – they've finally got some working BisonCam drivers on the Alienware website. It's working for me now:

Thanks to all who responded to my cry for help regarding getting the drivers back up for me to download. My m9700 is now running on all 64-bit goodness, and my god it is significantly better than when i ran 32-bit vista on it!

Now if only my Shoretel Phone call manager software would support 64-bit!

I still haven't been able to find the files to download -- the links in the OP are dead :S -- can anyone toss me a working link please?

well, I seem to have gotten most things working now -- however, I still need to get drivers for:

Airgo Wireless Card
Soundmax HD Drivers
PCI Modem

and some other bits and pieces that I can't see a human-readable name for in the device manager.

Please, someone help me!

How about a list of the drivers included and where they were obtained from. That way we can check for updates as well as go get them ourselves when links are broken.

I would really like these sounds drivers as well, Im on the alienware aurora m9700 vista x64. where are the original links? i just dont see why these sound drivers are so hard to obtain.??

hi i have a aurora for more than a year and so far it pretty good ,, i notice that a sound skip happens every 30 40 secs and that when i have few space on HD is freezes for a sec or 2 ,, im trying to down grade to XP may be this way it would run a bit faster and will b more stable could you help me direct me to what to do first... thank you so so much

I wanted to come back to this and mention that this driver worked flawlessly! The sound is crystal clear, performance is top notch. Thx for all the info and Harmacy for the great DL.

I am still having the problem with the mimo driver not working no wifi at all and it stinks. If anyone has got this to work on their alienare m9700 some help would really be appreciated.

If anyone has the link to these drivers. I would appreciate it very much. I have no sound and I've tried everything I can think of. Thanks so much
