Updates were not configured correctly.

I am trying to install the Update for Windows Driver Framework version 1.11 (KB2761494) and after three attempts, and a long and frustrating four to five hours of waiting for each attempt, I would get this message at the last minute:

"Updates were not configured correctly. Reverting changes. Do not turn off your computer."

Does anyone have a solution for this? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

I have the same problem. Did you manage to solve it? If so, write here how you did it, please, it would help me a lot (I am not very good with computers).

It says that in order to do a System Restore, I need the Vista disc and I don't have one. What should I do then? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

If issue persists, perform System Restore (only if Software Configuration Changes were made)Refer the link for your reference: System Restore - Microsoft Windows

NOTE: With system restore you will not lose any data from the computer, any new programs installed in the computer has to be reinstalled on the computer.
