Windows update configured to never install drivers

Hi.

The title says it all really.

Can anyone explain to me if this is normal, and if not, any suggestions on what I can do to rectify the problem? I got this information from Microsoft Fixit, said it had checked it.. but no fix .. if any needed??

Vista SP2 32bit.

Everything is set to update automatically already. Hurrrrm another problem to try and fix, as Microsoft Fixit is rather rubbish. Thanks for your reply.
