Solved Curious 3/15/11 Update Received
Several miniutes ago Windows Updates prompted me to install a new definition for Defender which I did. Shortly thereafter it prompted me to install another update. This was curious as I don't remember ever being prompted for another update just after downloading and installing one. The update is KB2522422 which apparently fixes a Canon printer problem related to IE9 and is from 3/15/2011.
Cannot print from Internet Explorer 9 using some Canon printers
I don't have a Canon printer or IE9.
Any ideas? And how should I proceed?
Thanks as always.

Any idea why it happened? I think I remember getting an update related to an Acer monitor, though I can't remember what I did with it. Actually that thread is here
http://www.vistax64.com/windows-updates/295655-acer-display-gr276hl.html
What's strange, and maybe you can answer this, is that I looked at unhiding updates and that Acer update is not listed. If I hid it, why is it not there?

If you ever had that printer, just one remnant of it remaing could cause the update.

Marking as solved as I hid the update.
Never had a Canon printer. Never had an Acer monitor either. Any idea where my hidden Acer update went, Rich?
