Hi,
i have erased the hard drive on my grandson's laptop to get rid of a stubborn virus, and re-installed drivers and Windows Vista. There are about 113 updates which download, then install, and then on restart go through the "configuring" process.
Then I get the message that the updates were not configured correctly, and the changes are all reverted.
I did this twice yesterday, then wiped everything again, reinstalled Vista and all the other programmes, and downloaded the Windows updates through Iobit ASC instead of direct from Windows Update - with the same result!
I have done this before with no problems, and everything else on the laptop is working fine. Please help!
