Am sorry guys if i posted in wrong group.
I've been interested in Slipstreaming my vista Dvd with it's service pack within a single installation disk but a tool for doing this job better is what am asking. Is there another tool to do this apart from vlite which does not require installation of WAIK?

Sorry for the late reply. Basically not. vLite is the best tool available, and it causes many issues down the road. WAIK is the only safe way, but I know how long it takes. I personally don't bother to slipstream.
Instead, I keep a WSUS Offline repository which I re-update every month or so. Massive download to start with, but then only the changes are downloaded. Basically this tool downloads all of the installers now, you install from the old disk, and then update from this tool. Thanks Rich for your reply. As i write this vlite is compiling the last image of vista which has taken 4 hours. I never downloaded WAIK but i managed to get driver (wimgapi.dll) that was required for vlite to run.
