This is actually a repeat of an old thread from 2007 but a solution never appeared because of two unanswered questions, at least, as far as I know. I would like an answer because I have this same problem. I am running Vista Home Premium 64bits. The thread goes like this: I cancelled a Windows Live Essentials 2011, KB2434419, update (ii's optional). No problem, the cancellation appears in the Update Installation History but not in the Updates Uninstalled List, so, I can't remove it. The questions never answered back then in 2007 were "Which update are we talking about" and "Is this Can this Update be removed by uninstalling it after install." Both of these are actually questions without the question marks. In my case I do not want to reinstall, I just want to remove the reference to in the Update Installation History. Has anyone had to solve this and, if so, how? Perhaps I should reinstall it and all the rest then remove them. Thanks...
