since i installed service pack 3 i have got a message that this copy of vista is counterfeit but it is a genuine copy I have tried to activate it but it will not even with telephone activation

Thanks for the reply I have uninstalled the latest security pack and the pc is now back to normal and on checking it says is activated so the problem must be the latest service pack

when i tryto change the product ket message says ( the product key you have entered does not appear to be avalid windows vista product key )

Then you do not have a legal copy of Windows vista and you are going to need to go to PC world and tell them about this, sorry but I can't get an activation key for you, be prepared to buy one...
