Hi all;
I have been putting off installing updates on my system for fear of borking it up again - I have installed and reinstalled 3 times since July. Once was my fault but 2x I am convinced it was due to an update.
Does anyone know of a list of updates known to cause problems? Maybe of list of the knowledge base numbers that I should stay clear of?
I have about 60 or so "Important updates"
to install plus about the same number of optional updates.
Right now the system is running perfectly on SP1 with no updates - just the installed O/S with a fairly conservatively overclocked i7 920. Only issue is about 30 second delay from the Windows scrolling thing until I can log in.
Any help or tips would be appreciated...
TIA
