it just telling you there is something wrong with the backup service. do yu have an extra hard drive to save the backup too?

could you type services.msc in search and look for the backup service and tell me if it is there and if it is started (in auto, manual, or delayed)?

thanks

Ken

I attached to post wbengine.reg packed in zip format;download, upack it import to registry + restart. If you still will have the same issue make this:

1.Make sure you have wbengine.exe in C:\Windows\System32 -if not you have to extract this file from Vista DVD
2.Make log from VistaSysInfoTool http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/176785-vistaforums-sysinfo-tool.html (select all) and log attache to post
