Windows Update Error Code 80244019 - Serious Problem

Everytime I try to update I get this code, I looked on these forums and found a way to fix it by going to Regedit and navigating to:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\WindowsUpdate\AU]

Then selecting dword value:

"UseWUServer"=dword:00000001"

and change the value to 0.

Then reboot.

However I have two problems:

1. In Regedit when I am following those links after Windows I cannot see a WindowsUpdate link!

2. Less importantly what does he mean by reboot, is he just saying restart?

That DIDN'T answer my question at all, does anyone know the problem here?

Simple fix:

Start -> Run -> Regedit.
Search for "UseWUServer", when the key is found, set the value(dword) to 0.
Then reboot you machine, IE: restart, power cycle, whatever you want to call it.
