Hello all,
Last Tuesday my Windows Update notified me of a list of new patches among which was KB961260, a "Cumulative Security Update for IE & for Windows Vista".
On researching, I have found other people on other forums have had issues with this update some resulting in a BSOD. When I looked at the Microsoft site, it seemed to me that this update has a lot of tech information that I don't really understand.
The first thing that jumps out at me is that this update seems to be aimed at IE 8 beta.
Has anyone downloaded this update and does anyone here know of any issues connected with it?
Also, there was a Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool (KB890830) that was there yesterday and no longer appears on the list. It has not downloaded or installed according to my update history. Do the updates sometimes just disappear like that?
I'd appreciate any input..
