windows update is wanting to install new windows update software?

My windows update is actually trying to load new software, and when I request to install it, installation begins, and reverts to checking for updates. If I try again, it's the same result.

How can I solve this??

any help on the admin side??? easy for you guys to take post down but questions go unanswered for weeks at a time!! whats that all about?
