| | RE: Java in Vista Ok, I downloaded and installed JRE. However when I run the Java.com "verify installation" (http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp) it is showing that it is not working, I followed the instructions it has for if it does not work, which included the security settings for IE 7 and still nothing. I am really racking my brain here. The yahoo games I am trying to get into include Yahoo Pool, although I have tried others as well with no results, the direct links to them would require you to log in, but the java.com verify shows it isn't working so it is most definately a problem on my side. Thanks for the help guys, and the fast response. And for some reason it Windows Mail wasn't letting me reply to the original post, but that is a seperate issue ![]() |

| | Re: Java in Vista ok basically you need to uninstall any Java first, and do NOT go to the usual Java page you are used to in XP. It's not the same one as for XP. It's specifically from that link I posted above, http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp Jeff "zaph0d beeblebrox" <jeremysayshi@gmail.com> wrote in message news:OlrbUeyYHHA.4552@TK2MSFTNGP05.phx.gbl... > Ok, I downloaded and installed JRE.
