Gday fellas
Not to sure where to post this.
I watch my favourite (and when bored anything) TV shows online.
I am a member of allmyvideos.net, which if the URL is there will use. However some of the TV shows do not have a link to them.
On one my bored sessions I began watching Undercover Boss, the only working links went off to veevr. Loaded a few, then when I went to watch them, a new tab in the latest version of Firefox opened all by itself, it took me to Empire Gamingworld.
I shut it down, (I have an addon called "no popups" in Firefox), went back to watch that particular TV show, watched it, then clicked on the next episode and a tab opened yet again, taking me back to this gamingworld site.
I shut down Firefox, reopened it, cleared the cache and cookies. Thought to myself coincidence or bug with veevr.
Didn't go back to veevr, went instead to watch my regular TV shows, which had allmyvideos links, opened one and blow me over with a feather, if a new tab didn't open again, once again taking me to the gamingworld site.
Cleared out the cookies again, tried again, same scenario. (this happened at least a dozen times) Now I am thinking bug in the latest version of Firefox, Downloaded an earlier version of FF, was just about to install it, when all of a sudden the new tab stopped opening.
So if anyone can answer this, now it is more of a curiosity thing than a problem. Have/do any of you ever use veevr? If so did you have the new tab opening problem?
Cheers
Susan
