I asked the Avast! forum but no real answer was given so I'll give it a shot here.
Some sites where I watch video my Avast icon spins continuously.(Others it does not.) ESPN/Sportcenter, PBS/POV are examples. It appears that the continuous spin is due to avast Script Shield scanning script repeatedly. On the ESPN site it says that it's scanning facebook, tweetme and/or google script, whereas it's scanning simply the web address of the PBS/POV video.
Any idea what's going on?
I don't have the most recent avast update as I'm waiting for the kinks to be smoothed out.
