How do i reset the fingerprint recognition

New Member
My girlfriend left and took her finger with her... now i cant get into my own computer, I let her set it up while i was at work and she used her fingerprint now she gone and I cant log in, can i flash the bios or jump the cmos to reset, or is there an easier way. The fingerprint shows up as a user account on the welcome screen. The system is a HP Laptop.

Please Help.

Hello gwoody83 and welcome to the forums :party:

I have no experience with fingerprint recognition security systems however I have read that removing the CMOS battery and then disabling the fingerprint scanner in the BIOS would remove the password, I'm not 100% sure on this though, it's your call. I can provide the relevant tutorial or guide you through each of these steps if needs be?
