I currently am using Trend Micro Internet Security with it's Personal Firewall turned ON. I also have Windows Security Essentials Firewall set to NOT MONITORED. I set it to Not Monitored as when it was set to OFF the Windows Security Alerts shield icon would always be in my system tray with pop up messages that my Firewall was turned off. I just want to make sure that I am doing the correct thing by turning my Windows firewall off while running my Trend Micro firewall.
Second Problem: The Malware Protection tab Windows Security Essentials is set to "Check Settings" with a note saying it's "Not compatible" and it also notes "Trend Micro Internet Security is on but is reporting its status to Windows Security Center in a format that is no longer supported. Uce the program's automatic updating feature, or contact the program manufacturer for an updated version" -- I have no idea what this is actually saying, nor what I should be doing with it. (see attachment)
Thx
