File copy and paste from one computer to another

I'm in a big mess and i really need help!!!. I copied some files from a vista 32bit laptop to win7 32bit laptop but i didn't see all files and folders for year 2010. I saw all other years' file. The funniest part is that i can't see files created in year 2010 inside 2009 folder(s), can you imaging that? I was unable to get the files on both the vista and win7.

Please, i need you to advice me on what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
