Currently running Vista64 on a HP DV9500CTO laptop, fully loaded with almost every option avaliable from HP. I love it, First thing I did when I got the laptop about a month ago is wipe it and do a clean (with out all the HP pre-installed crapware). Running great.
One thing I want to ask running Norton Internet Security 2008, and it seems to be slowing down the computer quite a bit. I am a road warrior, I travel a lot for work so I thought the Norton firewall would do a good job and seems to be fine, but again, it seems to be slowing down the system more than I like.
I went through the walkthrough section here on the site (I have been lurking / reading a lot here and decided to fineally register my account) and have seen some improvement from the tips there, but the main question is this: What do you all reccomend for a good AV / Firewall product that wont kill performance on this thing.
