Windows Media Player will not open and play an MWV file as an attachment in Windows Mail. I have tried saving the MWV file in a folder and on the desktop with no luck.

Hi Sierra,
Since you still cannot open it after you saved the attachment to the desktop, try making sure that Windows Media Player has all of it's default associations set to it. This link will show you how to do that.
