Speaker Icon Missing in task bar open volume mixer seem like a silly question here

The speaker Icon is missing from the open volume mixer, in the task bar area by the clock

I check in control panel sound icon property it is missing there also, only my digital audio (s/pdif) icon there. not using

How do I get this back so I can have the sound working again???:cry:

win 7 sp1 32
