Solved No sound after installing Vista Service Pack 2

I recently installed Vista Service Pack 2, but then the sound is gone. I try to turn up the volume on my taskbar to no avail. It's not muted, my monitor isn't muted, does anyone know what the problem might be?

I haven't messed around with any connections from the monitor to the CPU.

Most likely the Driver
Go to search by the start button, type device manager. Any drivers with small yellow markers must be udated. If no yellow markers update your audio driver.
