Reversing audio panning

I want to know if and how I can reverse the audio panning with stereo (so that the left side plays on the right side, vice versa). I got new headphones, but they hurt my ears when I wear them. I found that wearing them backwards is much more comfortable, but then the panning is reversed.
Help, anyone?

The only way that I am familiar with is to check with the manufacturer of your audio card. Some manufacturers have such a function or may be a function available on a driver.
