Keyboard/Headset volume controls not working?

Not sure if this is the correct place to post my thread, but here it is:

There's a problem where, the volume buttons to turn the volume up and down, on my Keyboard and Headset, stopped working. This happened a while ago, but now it's started to bother me since I simply want to adjust the volume when I'm ingame, and I don't want to click the volume button on the taskbar, then adjust it, blah!

If anyone knows how to fix this, thanks, and I doubt it's a problem with the keyboard and headset itself, since both are affected.

I'm using a Logitech G15 Keyboard, and a wireless Creative HS-1200 headset.

Check your manual. Do you have a key or set of key strokes that deactivates the speakers?

Check drivers.

Another problem can be with the headphone jack itself

The headphone input jack is stuck, there is a small switch inside the jack which shuts off the speakers when headphones are plugged in. When the headphones are pulled out, the speakers turn on again. Determine which jack you are using and use the other.
