Help?! Audio disabled?? ASAP?

I was attempting to disable my microphone on my HP windows vista, and I disabled all of my sound! I've read around all over online and all I found was to right click on the speaker on the task bar at the bottom of the screen and right click in white space and click on disabled/disconnected devices. I did and nothing shows up still?
HELP?

go in your device manager. Look for anything disabled. If you did manage to disable the sound card itself it would remove it from other locations to click on.
