Window vista with dial-up internet. Radio buffering while on sometimes staying out for minutes. What can I do to correct the problem.

Well, I'm sure you've heard this quite a few times but 56k is not the best for streaming data. Assuming the radio is a Internet radio station, and not a built in tuner you might want to look into upgrading your connection.
