hi all,
moved my computer - unplugged speakers, plugged back in after move. they don't make sound. tried an alternative set, they don't make sound. headphone jack puts out one channel sound from cd, youtube, etc - not 2 channels tho. at least there is sound and the headphones could be bad.
The first 2 times I booted the computer, after reaching the desktop a big gigabyte screen popped up showing sound related settings. (I have a gigabbyte motherboard) - first time ive ever seen that screen - so i just clicked it shut, before I knew the sound was problematic. cant get that gigabyte screen to come back on tho to see if I need to change settings on it. any idea how to get that gigabyte screen back?
checking the system shows sound in working order; onboard sound, not stand alone soundcard.
thanks,
Msongs
