No sound after installing SP1 - PnP Audio Device problem

I have installed SP1, Very late I know! However now it has installed it has disabled my audio. I have tried updating the drivers, uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling from the hardware section of control pannel.

I read a previous thread that says I should depending on my motherboard download the drivers directly. How do i determine what my motherboard it?

Should this solve the problem?

Thanks for the tip, I have downloaded the program, but what does it need to be opened in? As when i try to open the file it just keeps opening black IE windows and nothing happens?
