Alright, so i just bought this headset a couple days ago, and the headset works fine i can hear everything perfectly, but the mic doesn't work. I phoned the creative tech support but they know as much as i do. They just told me to return the product or contact my computers manufacturer . I read the post on this forum with someone having the similar problem but i was unable to follow the instructions to fix the issue he was having haha . So if anyone can help me that would be great
Check that you are plugging the mic into the correct socket - it should be coloured pink - and that it isn't set to mute or that the levels are too low. You might also need to enable mic boost. Also check the headset - is there a mute switch (or similar) on there to disable the mic?
