Win Med is hiding from me!?!

I accidently choose quicktime as my default player.

So I right clicked on one of my music files and selected "choose for default program"

The music plays fine but the win med program doesn't appear?

If I go to start/search and open it that way it's fine and I can stop the music that way but for some reason when I click on a media file it will play without the windows media box opening up.
