Hello all, I've got a problem that's completely stumped me but hopefully you'll know how to fix it. I have onboard sound with an asus m2n sli deluxe mobo. I am dual-booting xp and vista and my speakers work on my xp partition. I have them set as the default device and when I test them they work but when I try to listen to music or any audio it doesn't work. Thanks in advance for any help.

The driver model is different between XP and Vista - You need to download and install the Vista drivers to your Vista partition.

I've done that. It says the drivers are up to date. I just don't understand why when I go to the sound options in the control panel and test my speakers they work, but no other sound works. Any other ideas?
