Thermal Analysis Tool (TAT)

Anyone getting Intel TAT to work in Vista x64?

Unfortunately, it seems that TAT won't work on Vista x64. I'm currently using Speedfan to monitor temperatures, and Orthos to simulate load. From what I've seen, Orthos cannot 100% load the CPU as well as TAT, so add +5 degrees to your core temps when stress testing in Orthos to get an idea of where they would be with 100% load (as produced with TAT)

Okay, sounds like you have tested that... have you?

Yeah, thats how I've been doing it. I also use Prime95 to load the processor, it seems to do as well as Orthos does.

I've also gotten CoreTemp to work, but you have to F8 on boot and enable unsigned drivers.
