I have to make a book cover for a school project. How do I mark off guidelines for where to put my inside flap material, where the spine is, etc.? I need these lines to be in exact locations, and preferably, they'd be removable. Help?

Assuming you are using the full version of photoshop rather than elements, go to view, rulers. Then click and drag down from the ruler to bring up a guide. To remove it, click it and drag it back up to the ruler.
