Solved CCleaner, I use it to erase my data daily, is that alright?
Yea, I've been wondering whether I should stop excessively delete my data with CCleaner. Is there any downside to using it excessively?
Welcome,
You are fine. Just one warning, untick the registry items. You will be fine. CCleaner is safe and good to use often to clean the junk from the computer. There is even a box in settings to run at every boot. I do not use that service, however.

Agreed, as long as you use the base, initial settings, it just cleans out the obvious things that clutter up some spots.

Using CCleaner daily has no side effects so long as you have followed the advice given. It depends on what you want to keep, I run it monthly on some items. I manually go through the cookies so I can keep the passwords on some sites.

Go to the cookies section, right click, then intelligent scan. The cookies that you use will be saved. Hope that I have helped you Roy, since you have helped so many.
This is a new feature as of the last update of ccleaner.

Thanks, I now know it's safe. By the way I never cleaned the registry.
