Sticky Notes for Desktop

I'd like to find a Sticky Notes program/gadget or whatever that will "stick" the sticky note to the destkop so that it will show when I go to the Desktop (either by Alt + Tab or pressing Windows key + D). I've tried the Vista Sidebar but this doesn't "stick" to the desktop, nor does the Sticky Notes program that's available in Vista, or does a program called Sticky Notes version 2.3 that I got from Download.com.
Does this exist anywhere please?

Thanks for your reply but this does not do what I want, I does not "stick" to the desktop. Like other programs that I have tried it will either "stay on top", in which case it is on top of all programs/windows, which I find annoying, or it doesn't stay on top in which case I then can't find it easily. I want a sticky note to show ONLY when I go to the Desktop by using Alt + Tab or Windows key + D.

Hi,
Sorry that was not a suitable suggestion.
For Key use win + D your right, Alt + Tab Keys I use for other functions.

I have it fixed to the taskbar, new sticky - new note. Typing in say word, require note, click on taskbar icon, voila up it comes, click document -' in the background.'

Sorry I couldn't help you on this occasion.
Some other member of the forum might know of a solution.
