Error 1303 installing Office2010

I am trying to install office 2010 home and student version and keep coming up with errors. This one says Error1303 Setup cannot access the folder c:\Program Files\common files\microsoft shared\EQUATION verify the folder exists in your system and that you have permission to update it.

I looked it up and it is on my computer but it says access denied. How the heck do I get it so I can install this software? I spent $160 on something I can't use.

Can anyone help me please.

Follow these instuctions and use this administrator to install.

Intall in an administrative account.
If that does not work, try in safe mode
If that still does not work, create a new administrative account and use the above procedure to install.

Error 1303 is both installation and program run time error. Some users got this error while installing Sony Vegas and Adobe products; whereas others were getting it while opening a PDF file with Adobe Reader.

Allow Full Security Permissions to Program Data Folder
Remove Junk and Obsolete Registry References
Switch Users and Log-In from Administrator User Account
Disable Antivirus and Firewall Protections
