Getting Rid Of Copyright messages in videos

hi all.
many years ago i recorded train videos from my camera and used avs video converter unregisterd version.
i recently found my video file and it has annoying message pops up through my video saying "converted by unregisterd version avs video converter"

i use cyberlink power director 9 for my videos

i would like to know is there anything i can use to remove the annoying writing in my old videos

Hi pcmatty,

I really have no idea if this will work, but perhaps if you convert the video to some other format and then convert it back to .avs (assuming your software can do that) then the message will go away because that program will no longer be the one that did the last conversion. Then again, it may convert the popup messages as well because they may be permanently recorded into the video by using that unregistered software the first time. I'm not sure, but perhaps it's worth a try.

i got open virtual dub with a old train clip with the annoying avs unregisterd thign that apears.
what do i have to do to remove the writing?
can anyone help step by step on virtual dub.

Hello,

Nobody said it was easy, but you do want to remove them? Some bits of software are better than others.

The best bit would be to have the original! Then start again. Is that an option?
