Solved Word 2007 - Pre-Installed ( can't find product key)

Hello,

I got a new computer a while back. And in it, it has Microsoft Office Word 2007 ( it was pre installed). I had 25 free trial uses. Now it's locked up and won't do anything. So I guess I used them all.

I found this...How can I renew Word 2007? I really need it. I can't find the product key either!

Depending on how the Trial product was obtained (CD/DVD, downloaded, subscription, or preinstalled by the computer manufacturer, system builder, or reseller), the Product Key may be located in one of the following locations:

Desktop Trial icon when a preinstalled trial is available.
Sticker on CD case or other packaging.
Microsoft Product Identifier Card.
Confirmation e-mail message received from an online download or renewal notice.

Everyone who uses it likes it. Some of course perfer word. Its just a matter of opinion. Fully compatible with Word. Give it a try. Set up a system restore point first. If you dont like it you can get rid of it with no problems or remnanats.

Yes the software that you had was a come on. They want you to try and like and then buy.

System restore point. Could I not just go into add/remove programs and uninstall it?

Yes and that is the official way.
However, remnants always remain, some in registry.
If I install and in a week or so Im not happy, I use System Restore, the choice is yours
If you dont want to use SR, I would use Revno, its better than install and uninstall from Control Panel
