Java not compatible

I recently installed the latest version of Sun Java runtime enviorment. I am running Vista Ultimate 32bit. Recently been paying alot of attention to my event viewer for system errors and noticed Java is saying it's not compatible with the version of windows i'm using, yet on their website it specifically says it is. Any ideas on where the conflict is...thanx.

The "New Java" will require time for any event errors to be registerred against it.

Therefore please note: -

Time will be needed for them to be generated & registerred. Therefore assistance on them is/ will be limited.
