Adobe Flash update locks up all my media player attempts

I downloaded Adobe Flash 10.95 or something similar and ever since nothing works. My Windows media player locks up my system each time it turns on. I can't get emails into my manger, Rebooting and restoring system to a previous date doesn't work. Things have been running amok now for 10 days.

Tried scraping everything off and starting over. Now I heard that Adobe has an integral backend security problem and my system and security is compromised at a "Critical" level.

I can't use any media players now. I tried uninstalling Adobe Flash and Windows Live Messenger and anything that might be allowing hackers in. Anyone else have a clue what to do? Are there any safe versions of Adobe Flash that might work?

Yes, but it appears there is a critical error in that version of Adobe Flash. I guess you have to disable your security to load it and somehow some slimey people appear to have fastened some serious worm to it.
They say on their website that they hope to have a new version of it out by Nov. 9 but that is more than a week away. I guess not watch anything till then? No WAY!!!

I was thinking on the Media Player Side When you boot into Safe mode does your Media Player work??

Do not worry about the Security Error For the time being this is only Minor if you have an Anti-Virus
