Hi guys, i'm new to the forum. and i've searched couple of times for my problem but it seems i can't find any solution, so i'd like to create a new post for it.
I have a Dell Studio 1737 laptop which i bought in January, 2010. I hadn't got this problem back then. But now, when i run large setup.exe files, it takes a long time for it to pop up, the larger the file, the longer the time i need to wait. say when running a 1GB setup.exe, it takes about 5 minutes for it to pop up. It runs smoothly otherwise. but It is still really annoying when it gets to install large programmes, do i have a fix for it?
i don't know what sort of information should be provided, anyway here's my system spec:
OS: Windows vista home premium 32bit SP2
CPU: Intel Core 2 duo P8700 @ 2.53GHz, 3M Cache @ 1066MHz
Memory: 4GB DDR2 @ 800MHz
GPU: 512MB DDR2 ATi Mobility Radeon HD 3650 (overclocked)
Hard Drive: Hitachi 320GB Travelstar SATA (Serial ATA) hard drive 5400rpm, 3.0Gb/sec., 16mb Buffer
Thank you
