Solved Windows Live Calendar Issues

I am running the new WL Calendar beta and I don't know whether it is just a beta issue or there is genuinely something wrong here.

I haven't used the calendar before and I started entering stuff today. I have 3 calendars. Personal, UK Holiday and Birthday. The Birthday Calendar already had some entries from friends on Windows Live who had inserted their DOB on their contact details. It said in the description that they were pulled from my contact list, so, I began to enter birthdays into my contact list but they are not appearing on the calendar, any ideas why?

Oh and anyone know how i change the notifications on that calendar as it is read-only and only set to remind me 0.5 days before which is really no use

Hey ho, the issue seems to be self resolved, i just takes time for them to appear
