Hey Everyone and thank you very much for visiting my thread, hopefully you'll be able to solve my problem....
I Have an HP Pavillion Laptop with Windows Vista 32bit SP2 Home Premium
I've had it for two years now and it's wonderful.
Well except for two things....
1) I'm a film major and I use Windows version of Adobe Premier, which is Sony Vegas Pro 9. The program was working fine when I first got it, but recently it continuously becomes non-responsive. I make one or two moves, and the whole program just freezes...the "window message" pops up and I have to close down the program.
-Now I’ve tried programming my computer making SV (sony vegas) the highest priority when it's running, but so far it doesn't help.
- I also run Adobe After Effects on my computer and it works perfectly fine, but I only use that for motion graphics instead of the video editing
2) When ever I do run SV, my fan goes crazy and my computer heats up! I bought an external fan, but it does not seem to help. (And yes I know my CPU fan is working properly because you can practically hear it. And I clean it every month)
...and in all honesty, i really don't want to spend $$$ for a Mac.

Because I know you’re going to ask here are my computer specs:
