Solved Recommended AVI Trimmer???

Hi everyone!

I'm looking for a free AVI Trimmer to trim a video I have - but I'm looking for one that does not re-encode (if that is the right term :o) or re-convert it. Just a simple program that simply cuts the selected times and does no more. There is about 10mins at the end of my video that I just want to delete without affecting the rest of the video.

I've looked at a few already, but I need some advice from people who may be using safe reliable video trimmers at the moment.

AviDemux - Video software and downloads - VideoHelp.com

Just make sure the type is set to AVI and under the Video and Audio buttons it says Copy.

Move the slider to the area at the end you want to chop off. Use the '>>' button to move to the next key frame. Click the B Button to set it as the end of the video. Click the Diskette in the Toolbar to save it. It couldn't be easier.

Thanks so much for your help!

I decided to choose Avidemuxer over Free Video Dub, because it appears to have more features. It's so easy to use, and no loss of quality whatsoever! While Free Video Dub is more basic and may be better suited, Avidemux has extra options which may be useful in the future.

I will, of course, be noting both of these programmes and recommending them to friends!
