Whenever I try to download something, a 16-bit MS-DOS subsystem error pops up and the download is cancelled. For example when I try to download google chrome, A message pops up like this

The message pops up on my windows vista home premium 32bit, even though i'm not trying to access a 16=-bit program. Please help
